Cast Off II is a 38’ Bertram Sport Fisher  re-powered in 2011 with new 430 hp Cummins Turbo Diesels. She can reach a maximum speed of over 24 knots and cruises comfortably in fair seas at over 20 knots

Top notch electronics like Furuno Navnet , Garmin GPS and a 3 kw Furuno Sonar unit help your Captain to put you right on the fish. It is a winning combination; a Captain who knows where to take you and the sophisticated electronics to show them exactly where the fish are holding when you get there. It almost seems unfair!

We haven’t forgotten safety. It is our utmost priority. We carry all the required safety equipment and more including an EPIRB. 

Comfort? TWO A/C units cool the salon and staterooms very nicely.The cockpit is partially shaded for comfort when you are not fishing and the bridge is fully covered. If the Texas summer heats you up and the fish wear you out just go inside and get under a blanket for a nice little nap.
